US school knocks down 7,000 boxes of cereal to set dominoes record

Red Apple Elementary School in Wisconsin set a Guinness World Record for toppling the most cereal boxes in domino fashion with over 7,000 boxes.

A primary school in the US state of Wisconsin has made the Guinness List. World Record for most cereal boxes toppled in domino fashion. Teachers and students at Red Apple Elementary spent hours Friday setting up more than 7,000 cereal boxes in a line. It looked like a complex maze stretching through several school floors. It was also covering the stairs. The school shared pictures of the “Serial Dominoes Challenge” on its official Facebook page. In one fell swoop, the grain boxes were piled against the wall. The children were shot setting up the boxes and then watching them fall. Check out the snaps here:

WDJT-TV quoted teacher Suzanne Kelly-Johnson as saying, “We take out every tenth box so that if there’s an accident, we can pick them up again.” The teachers have been with the school for 32 years.

The report also states that all grain used to make the effort will be donated to local organizations and food stores. “For them to feel like they’re being used and it’s going to their community and possibly some of those families when they go to those food banks, I think that’s awesome,” Suzanne said. “

While the demolition process, which was undoubtedly the favorite part of the kids, went off without a hitch. The school will have to wait for some time to announce the record officially.

So far, the record for most cereal boxes in a domino effect is held by Long Beach Middle School. He dropped 6,391 numbers on May 5, 2021 to set the record. A food drive was organized by the students and staff of the school. Its purpose was to collect grain for local pantries to help individuals and families in need. He decided to attempt the event as well as the Guinness World Records title. After class was over, members of the school lined up these boxes in the school hall.

While their initial aim was to collect 3,500 boxes to donate, they were able to collect over 6,000. Its video was also shared on the Facebook handle of Guinness World Records. The boxes came crashing down in what looked like an amazing and most satisfying domino effect.
