“I have approved the proposal to convert at least one class into smart classroom in each department of this university. Best quality facility will be provided in those classes. The university authorities should start the work at the earliest,” said the minister.
Sahu said that there will be no problem in giving funds for Utkal University. “Premier University can do whatever it wants for the betterment of the students and the institution. This university is a guide and a guide for others.” Sahu said that apart from the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) and World Bank funds, the state government has released an amount of Rs 60 crore for the development of Utkal University during the last three years. “There is a need for mentoring system in educational institutions to improve the learning of students. It is in its early stages. If it becomes successful, many students will reach greater heights in studies,” said the Higher Education Minister.
