After reaching Puranpur around 11.35 pm, Yogi began his speech by making a comparison between his government and the previous SP regime.
“There was a curfew under the SP government. We replaced it with kanwar yatras. Similarly, we removed the bombs of the SP government and replaced it with ‘kanwariyas’ with the slogans of ‘har har bam bam’,” he said.
Concluding his speech amidst thunderous applause, the chief minister leaves for the Bisalpur assembly constituency, where he will land at 12.35 pm.
He said, “Electricity also had caste and religion under the SP regime. Electricity was a privilege only for a few. While there was light during Eid, it was dark all around on Diwali and Holi,” he said. Yogi says, “The SP and BSP governments made this area a dark zone.
Yogi returns to his chopper and eats khichdi for lunch. Responding to a question that Akhilesh Yadav is saying that those who do not have a family will not understand their pain, Yogi says: “Shivpal Yadav Vishal mein poore ho gaya hai (Shivpal Yadav’s condition is pathetic).”

On the issue of the court’s direction to the UP government to withdraw the notices imposed on the anti-CAA protesters, he says: “We will not withdraw the notices.
