Varanasi : Crime Branch Varanasi Police Commissionerate Successful in arresting mastermind of Rs 300 crore financial scam Arunesh Sita from Lucknow while his close Bal Chand Chaurasia Captured from Ballia.
While running her firm in the name of “Indus Ware Company”, Sita had ensured deposit of 300 crores from innocent investors of UP, Bihar. West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi and other states. He had produced films in Bhojpuri and other languages besides buying real estate in several cities.
Police Commissioner A Satish Ganesh said on Sunday, “Sita and Chaurasia were brought here on Sunday, produced before the court and sent to jail. Till Sunday afternoon, the police were able to collect details of 14 cases of cheating, cheating and criminal conspiracy. Against these two, the police are with the police in Varanasi, Robertsganj in UP, Kushinagar, Economic Offenses Wing in Bihar, Delhi, Patna and Siwan, Rewa, Singrauli and Jabalpur in MP.
A total of 15 PAN cards, eight ATM cards, one Aadhaar card, 20 check books, three stamps and two mobile phones were recovered from Sita, while similar items were also recovered from Chaurasia.
