Vehicles to be diverted to alternate routes on Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway on March 12

In view of the inauguration of the Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 12, vehicles plying on the road will be diverted to alternate routes between 6 am and 6 pm.

Mandya Deputy Commissioner HN Gopalakrishna, in an order dated March 7, said the diversion would be applicable to all types of vehicles.

Vehicles going from Mysuru to Bengaluru via Mandya will be diverted to Mysuru-Bannur-Kirugavalu-Malavalli-Halagur-Kanakapura-Bengaluru route.

Vehicles traveling from Bengaluru to Mysore via Mandya will be diverted to the Bengaluru-Channapatna-Halaguru-Malavalli-Kirugavalu-Bannur-Mysore route.

Vehicles going from Mysuru towards Tumakuru via Mandya will be diverted via Mysuru-Srirangapatna-Pandavapura-Nagamangala-Belur Cross-Tumakuru route.

Vehicles going from Tumkur towards Mysore via Maddur and Mandya will be diverted on Tumkuru-Belur Cross-Nagamangala-Pandavapura-Srirangapatna-Mysore route.

Vehicles going towards Kollegal-MM Hills via Maddur will be diverted towards Bengaluru-Channapatna-Halagur-Malavalli-Kollegal-MM Hills route.

After the inauguration of the expressway, the Prime Minister will address a public meeting at Gajjalagere in Maddur taluk of Mandya district. Hence, diversion of all types of vehicles is necessary in the interest of the safety of the VIPs attending the function.

Shri Modi will also participate in a roadshow in Mandya. The 1.5 km long roadshow in Mandya is expected to start from Inspection Bungalow (IB) Circle and pass through Sanjay Circle before terminating at Nanda Circle.
