The first case of H3N2 influenza virus has been confirmed from Assam on Wednesday. However, the Assam health department official also said that the department is closely monitoring the evolving seasonal influenza situation across the state through the Integrated Disease Surveillance Program (IDSP) network on a real-time basis.
