Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani has been granted bail by an Assam court in connection with the alleged assault on a policeman. Mr Mevani was arrested again on April 25 in the alleged assault case after he was granted bail by another Assam court in connection with a tweet on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
