Pumpkins were given to elephants as part of the Milwaukee County Zoo Enrichment Program.
There are many touching videos of elephants on the internet. Their actions are so cute that people want to keep watching them. In a video doing the rounds on the Internet, three elephants at the Milwaukee County Zoo in the United States have a good time plucking giant pumpkins, which are often depicted as seasonal October around the festival of Halloween.
The one-minute, 40-second video was shared by the Milwaukee County Zoo on its Facebook page on October 26. It was captioned, “It’s Elephant’s Annual Smash and Squash!”
In the video, three African elephants can be seen plucking a pumpkin with their teeth and then enjoying the same.

The video has garnered over two lakh likes and reactions on Facebook. Many internet users commented on the video now going viral. One user wrote, “Wow!! Never seen an elephant eating anything, amazing! Looks like it’s hard to get food to their mouth.” Another user said, “I love that they get all stabbed with it.” I like how the elephants knew they had to break the pumpkin into small pieces in order to eat them. Fun to watch,” commented a third. Another user said, “It’s cute. What a wonderful way.”

as reported by New York PostPumpkins were also given to other animals including lions in the zoo for the purpose of enrichment. He further stated that the three pumpkins were 347 pounds (157.3 kg), 364 pounds (165.1 kg) and 576 pounds (261.2 kg).
The names of the three animals are Brittany, Ruth and Belle. According to the Milwaukee County Zoo website, they acquired Belle from another zoo in 2019 as part of an expansion of their elephant exhibit.
