A man is being praised on social media for saving a girl riding a bicycle from hitting a pole on the road. His quick thinking saved the child in time for what could have been a fatal accident. A video of the incident is going viral on the internet, in which users are calling him the savior and comparing him to Jesus Christ. It is not known where the video was shot. It has garnered over 82,000 votes on Reddit alone.
The video shows a man in a blue T-shirt and on a bicycle talking to his friends on a sidewalk near the road. He suddenly turns his head, sees something (probably the girl’s scream) and jumps off his bicycle.
Before others could understand, the man runs a few steps and catches a girl coming towards him on a bicycle at high speed. The spot where he caught the girl is inches from a street pole seen in the video.
The girl’s bicycle fell on the pavement and she narrowly escaped.
The video plays first in normal motion, then in zoomed in mode and in slow motion to focus on the man’s heroic effort. Others are also seen running towards the girl to see if she is not well.
