The Congress has questioned the appointment of former Supreme Court judge Justice S Abdul Nazeer as the governor of Andhra Pradesh. Justice Abdul Nazeer was on the constitution bench that heard the controversial Ayodhya land dispute case and delivered a unanimous verdict. Legally there can be nothing wrong in this appointment, it has happened in the past as well. But the question being raised is one of propriety. The program is also attended by top leaders of BJP and Congress, lawyers.
