Vidya Balan’s ‘Niyat’ gets a release date

Makers of Vidya Balan’s upcoming film motive The release date of the film has been announced. The Whodunnit is set to release in theaters on July 7, 2023.

The film is directed by Anu Menon who last directed Vidya Balan in the 2020 film Shakuntala Devi, motive Ram Kapoor, Rahul Bose, Neeraj Kabi, Amrita Puri, Shahana Goswami, Niki Walia, Dipannita Sharma, Shashank Arora, Prajakta Koli, Danesh Razvi, Ishika Mehra and Madhav Deol also star. The film is written by Anu Menon, Priya Venkataraman, Advait Kala and Girvani Dhyani and the dialogues are penned by Kausar Munir.

Produced by Vikram Malhotra-led Abundantia Entertainment, who also produced Shakuntala Deviand co-produced by Prime Video, motive tells a gripping suspenseful tale of an unlikely detective (Vidya Balan) who investigates mysterious murders at a billionaire’s party where nothing is what it seems and all the suspects hide a secret or two.
