Diesel in Mumbai has crossed Rs. 100-issue currently Rs. 100.29 per litre, after a hike of 37 paise while petrol has touched Rs. 109.83 per liter.
Petrol and diesel prices are currently at a record high across the country.
Domestic fuel rates have been increased for the fifth consecutive day across the country. With the latest revision, petrol and diesel have become costlier by 30 paise and 35 paise respectively, touching a new all-time high in the national capital Delhi. As per the details listed on the Indian Oil Corporation website, the price of petrol in Delhi is now Rs 103.84 per liter while that of diesel is Rs 92.47 per litre. Fuel prices vary from state to state, depending on the value added tax (VAT) levied by the state government.

Petrol prices in Delhi have touched ₹ 103.84 per litre, while diesel rates have touched ₹ 92.47 per litre.

In Mumbai, diesel has crossed the 100 mark of retail sales, currently at ₹100.29 per litre, after a hike of 37 paise. At the same time, petrol has increased by 29 paise, which now costs ₹ 109.83 per liter. Other metro cities have seen a similar increase in fuel rates. Petrol price in Chennai increased by 26 paise to Rs 101.27 per liter, while diesel price increased by 33 paise to Rs 96.93 per litre. Petrol and diesel prices in Kolkata have touched ₹104.52 per liter and ₹95.58 per liter respectively. In Bengaluru, customers will have to pay ₹ 107.46 per liter for petrol and ₹ 98.15 per liter for diesel. Petrol prices in Hyderabad have touched Rs 108.02 per liter, while diesel prices have gone up to Rs 100.89 per litre.

Fuel prices remain the most expensive in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar district as vehicle owners will have to pay ₹115.86 per litre, while diesel costs ₹106.48 per litre. Right behind are Anuppur and Rewa districts of Madhya Pradesh, where petrol has touched ₹115.20 per liter and ₹114.80 per liter, while diesel is selling at ₹104.15 and ₹103.78 per liter respectively. Fuel rates in Parbhani district of Maharashtra have reached ₹112.39 per liter and ₹101.21 per liter respectively. Customers in Bhopal will now have to pay ₹112.38 per liter and ₹101.54 per liter respectively for petrol and diesel.
