On the killing of a Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader, Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan said violence of any kind is a threat to democracy.

Local CPM leader PB Sandeep Kumar was allegedly stabbed to death on Thursday in Thiruvalla in Pathanamthitta district of Kerala.
