In an exclusive chat with News18, filmmaker Vipul Amritlal Shah addresses the controversies surrounding his upcoming film, The Kerala Story. He said, ‘I believe in the law. The censor board has given the green signal to the film. Before giving us the certificate, he did a lot of research on the film for about one and a half months. We are glad we went through this investigation. We know that each and every evidence and document provided by us to the final authority of film certification has been approved. This shows that they have accepted our reality. After that, if some groups have complaints and want to create some kind of trouble, I think it should be left to the courts or any legal authority to decide.”

During a recent interview, actor Zayed Khan recalled his experience of working with filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan in the film Main Hoon Na. He recalled an incident where she got upset on set for shouting “cut” and proceeded to throw her slippers at him. Zayed said that the shooting was happening at a very high altitude, which was creating challenges. She revealed, “He abused the hell out of me. And even threw his slippers at me. I told him, ‘How do you expect me to dance on a dead body.’ I would say cut’.”
Telugu choreographer Chaitanya passed away on Sunday, April 30. The choreographer reportedly died by suicide. Reportedly, Chaitanya could not repay his debts and hence hanged himself in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. Chaitanya was seen in the popular Telugu dance show Dhi. As reported by India Today, Chaitanya shared a video on his social media handle just before his death. In the video, he revealed that he could not repay his loan and hence feels the burden of financial commitments.
