We have often seen improved versions of many popular dishes, haven’t we? From pizza and pasta to butter chicken and paneer (cottage cheese), 2.0 always tastes and feels better than its predecessor. But have you ever heard of “new and improved water”? Water is one of the major elements essential for human existence and civilization. It is considered to be one of the most important factors behind the existence of life on earth. Even the human body is made up of 70 per cent water. health experts and nutritionist Insist on always being properly hydrated. While water is readily available, chef Zachary Neiman shares a recipe for preparing a ‘new’ and ‘improved’ version of water at home. He likes to call it “Water 2.0”.

Neiman shared a video on Instagram in which he is seen ‘preparing’ this water in several steps. The materials he uses include crushed snow, Block ice, Antarctica ice for garnish and tap water. “I know there are a lot of recipes out there, but I like my water like this,” she said in the beginning, guiding her followers:
Step 1: First take 1 c cold ice and crush it into small pieces by cutting it with a knife.
Step 2: Heat a pan and add two tablespoons of lukewarm water and crushed ice. Shake it evenly.
Step 3: Now add 4c fresh ice to the pan. Mix it but make sure the ice cubes are not completely melted. Empty the water with ice cubes into a plastic bag.
Step 4: Take a tub (for sous vide) and fill it with water, and place your water bag in the tub. Now check it at 153.5 F for 1.33 hours
Step 5: Next, take a stand mixer and empty the bag of water in it. Beat it with tap water on low speed until it attains a watery consistency.
Step 6: Now, strain the excess watery consistency.
Step 7: Empty the final product into a bowl and top it with some grated Antarctic ice. However, this is optional – you can also replace it with regular ice.

Instagram users were in awe of the chef and his Water 2.0 recipe. This video has got about 14 million views on social media.
One user wrote, ‘Brother forgot to wash the ice before cooking.’
Another said, “Bhai has made drinking water unaffordable.”
Taking a dig at the preparation, one woman responded, “Too processed for me. I love organic water.”
“I think the water is too thick, try going for a watery consistency next time,” read one comment.
