Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Chennai-Mysore Vande Bharat Express at Krantiveer Sangolli Rayanna (KSR) Railway Station in Bengaluru on 11 November. This is the first such train in South India. Now, a video of a student performing the famous patriotic song ‘Vande Mataram’ on the newly inaugurated train has gone viral on the internet.
This video has been shared by railway official Ananth Rupangudi on Twitter and it is getting a lot of love. The video shows Aprameya Seshadri, a teenager from Bengaluru, playing the song on the flute while other commuters are in awe of him. Some passengers are seen sitting in the newly inaugurated train while others stand behind the young artist. The video appears to have been recorded by a co-traveller.

Other users also appreciated the recently launched Vande Bharat Express trains by the government. “Sir I like this Vande Bharat initiative. It gives a modern look to our trains. But I don’t see how it is a significant improvement over the already existing Shatabdi. It sounds attractive but even The seats are also not as comfortable as a normal AC chair car in Shatabdi,” added an internet user.
Another said, “The chair car beauty doesn’t look bad at all.”
