A video is going viral on social media where a teacher in a government school in Delhi shows her dance moves on a Haryanvi song to connect with the students and learn from them. The video was shared by the teacher himself on Twitter.
Students like to be teachers. He likes role reversal.

“Students love to be teachers. They love role reversal. English lang teaching followed by some Haryanvi music – a glimpse of the end of our school day,” said teacher Manu Gulati in his tweet.
The video begins with Ms. Gulati encouraging a student to dance to a song. Then one of the students is heard asking the teacher to teach them the steps. Hearing this, the English language teacher dances to applause from the students.

Ms Gulati’s Twitter bio said: “I am a Delhi government school teacher, a passionate mentor, a Fulbright fellow and a PhD scholar.” He has more than 19,000 followers on the micro-blogging platform.
Schools and teachers often come up with creative ways to teach and engage their students. Last year, teacher Arvind Tiwari in Jharkhand gave a rural school a makeover to attract children to enroll and motivate them to study seriously.

Three of the school’s five rooms were redesigned to look like railway coaches. In addition, a giant “Snakes and Ladders” game board was featured on the floor. Mr. Tiwari’s efforts paid off and the drop out rate in the upgraded middle school came down to zero.
