An eerie but hilarious video showing a wild elephant rubbing its body on a car in the middle of the road has gone viral on the internet. The clip was shared by Buitengbiden on Twitter on Tuesday and has since garnered more than 2.3 million views and more than 46,000 likes.

In the clip, the wild elephant is seen walking on the road while passing through the forest. Seconds later, the giant tusker is seen rubbing himself against the vehicle.

At first it tries to climb on the tire of the car with one foot. He then tries to sit on the bonnet of the four wheeler. The tusker also climbs onto the car and descends, breaking the vehicle’s front as well as side view mirrors. The devastation caused to the car by the giant elephant can be seen at the end of the video.
Since being shared, the clip has divided internet users. One user jokingly wrote, “I’m imagining to explain this to the insurance company.” Another said, “How can one not believe that an elephant scratched their butt on their car? Lol.”
A third commented, “I would be frightened and break a rib trying to laugh at the same time,” while a fourth joked, “The elephant is using the car as toilet paper”.

Meanwhile, another video from earlier Elephant walking inside the hospital surfaced online. Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer Sushant Nanda tweeted a close-up shot of two wild elephants inside Binnaguri Army Camp Hospital. The office of BJP Vice President Dilip Ghosh also shared on Twitter a video of a large body of an elephant entering the corridor through the door.
