A video has gone viral on Instagram that shows user RobertBrantley stopping his car to clear a small kitten out of the way. As he picks up the kittens, the camera moves to a patch of grass off the road, showing several more kittens running towards him, emerging from the grass.

The caption of the video reads, ‘Given the task of going to the range. Passed on a kitten. I knew it wouldn’t be made overnight and the wife wanted a cat for the farm; Thought I would stop and save the matter. I backed up to take a short clip and ambushed my crowd. Someone wants a kitten at the expense of yelling? I’ll cut you a deal!”
Since the video was posted to Instagram, it has garnered over 300,000 views, even as the user has made several followup videos.
One of the videos shows the kitten with all its equipment inside the car. “I’ve been getting a lot of messages and comments about bringing kittens home. I was driven down a range trip when I was ambushed. So here’s a video of them all. I wish I was in my truck.” But I was stuck on a gas saver. This model didn’t even come with a kitty box. I couldn’t live with them because I’d throw one in and 2 would go out. So I had to close the door through the bottom window and They had to sneak in. It would have been really cool footage,” he said in the caption.
The video is also getting a lot of views, with social media hailing the user as the savior of these kittens.
