Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Consulate General of USA to organize event
The Indian Institutes of Technology Madras and the United States Consulate General in Chennai will host a virtual workshop to build the capacity of educational institutions in South India to support US students visiting India on study abroad programs.
The ‘Destination South India’ workshop, organized jointly with the United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) and Forum on Education Abroad, from November 15-18, aims to transform South India as a study abroad destination for students from American institutions. as a promotion. and to build capacity of South Indian institutions to foster partnerships with US institutions.
Educational institutions in South India that wish to expand their existing engagement with US university study abroad officials/US students or institutions that have not yet initiated such engagement but are seeking US students and NGOs Equipped with the resources and capacity to host and are interested in contributing. Students may apply for field experience in the US study abroad program.
