Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) is planning to construct MIG houses, especially for the needs of the middle class, its Chairman M.V. Pranav Gopal has said.
Addressing a group of select media persons on Wednesday, Mr. Pranav Gopal said that the authority had decided to construct budget housing apartments within the city limits to fulfill the dream of the middle class to own a house.
The VMRDA has decided to conduct a comprehensive survey to find out the interests, preferences and needs of the people.
The authority will thoroughly examine the suggestions made by the people, and formulate the necessary plans accordingly. “For this, notice boards with a QR code will be put up in public places. By scanning the QR code through mobile phones, people can participate in the survey. Based on the survey outcomes, the VMRDA will formulate plans for the construction of MIG budget housing apartments,” he added.
