The crispy ball of puris stuffed with tangy-spicy filling makes mouth watering for many. Call it pani puri, golgappe, phuchka or gupchup, different names put together add to the craving for fun street food. But have you ever thought of experimenting with this much-loved food? Chef Saransh Goila comes up with his own pani puri recipe. And it has a fruity twist that you won’t regret.

The ingredients required to make Pineapple Pani Puri are as follows:
1 pineapple
20 curry leaves (dry roasted)
1 tsp cumin (dry roasted)
1 star fennel (dry roasted)
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tbsp ginger (chopped)
2 green chilies (chopped)
1 glass of water
1 tsp black salt
1 tsp black pepper (crushed)
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1/2 tsp salt
Pieces of ice
Bundi
Puri
How to make Pineapple Pani Poori?
The crispy puris for this recipe will remain the same as regular ones. But the water will get a major makeover.
Take a big pineapple and cut it into cubes. Put these pieces in the blender. Put the dry roasted curry leaves, cumin and fennel seeds in a blender. Add sugar, ginger and chillies over it. Blend them once. Then, add a glass of water and blend the mixture. Sieve the mixture after mixing. Pour juice into a large mixing bowl. We are not done yet.

Make this water more spicy by adding black salt, ground black pepper, chaat masala and salt as per taste. Add a cool twist to this recipe by adding ice cubes to the mixing bowl. Add boondi and mix well. Dip your poori and savor this sweet-sour-spicy water poori.
