Watch: Actor Andrew Garfield’s exchange with interviewer at Golden Globes goes viral

Journalist-comedian and YouTuber Amelia Diemoldenberg’s flirty exchange with Hollywood actor Andrew Garfield on the Golden Globes red carpet has gone viral on the internet. The footage of the duo’s chemistry has garnered nearly 33 million views on Twitter.

The Chicken Shop Date host jokingly warned the actor to “be normal” on the red carpet. The ‘Amazing Spiderman’ actor compared the host to a “capybara in the wild”. He said that he only wanted to see her and added swiftly that “he always wanted to see her in these conditions.” During the conversation, the actor struggled to contain his laughter as he reconnected with the interviewer.

Further in the interview, Ms Demoldenberg informed the actor that she would like to invite him to her birthday party on January 30. The Tick, Tick… Boom! Then asked him about his “astrological sign”. When the host revealed that it was Aquarius, the actor admitted that it was also Garfield’s moon sign.

“If your Sun sign is the same as someone else’s Moon sign… that’s cool,” explained the actor. The host asked him why this was an issue, and he said he didn’t think he should “figure it out”.

The host said she wasn’t asking to do so and then joked that Garfield was “obsessed” with her, to which he jokingly agreed.

“I’m scared of what it could be, and I’m not ready for that kind of thing,” Garfield said.

He then asked her to sign his “Best Friend Certificate”. He then turned away from her and said: “Goodbye best friend”.

The pair gave an interview together for the first time in November. During the interview, the actor called the journalist “great” and revealed that he had watched his YouTube series.
