When it comes to dosa, we all know that there is a lot of variety in it. From masala and paneer dosa to rava dosa, most of the restaurants offer a range of this delicious crunchy south indian delight, However, for some people, their creativity knows no bounds and thus they try something extra even with classic food like dosa. Recently, a video has gone viral in which a street food vendor is shown making dosa in the most wasteful way possible. In the clip uploaded to Instagram, the seller begins by spreading the dosa batter on the pan and of course pours a big slab of butter on it. Some tomatoes, capsicum and onions are also added before adding some cashew nuts and red chili powder. Then he adds something that has seeped into almost every fast food we’ve seen lately. Yes, it’s mayonnaise.

Well, if you think the dish ends here, wait till you bring in a man to pour everything, except the dosa, into a fiery clay pot. Giving the final touch to the dosa, the person grates some more paneer on it and removes it from the pan before finally embellishing it with a layer of mayonnaise.
The dosa is then wrapped in the shape of a cone and placed inside a burning vessel allowing its contents to flow out. Making sure it looks tempting enough, the person tops the dish with some more paneer, coriander and cashews.
After watching the video, many were shocked by the process the dosa had to go through. One user called it the ‘worst food ever’.
Another highlighted the excessive amount of cheese and butter used in the preparation.
“I would call it dosa junk food. It is a pity that dosa has also become a junk food,” read a comment.
