We all love dhabas food! There is a distinct style of cooking which makes the food of Dhaba taste much better than the food served in restaurants. This video by YouTube based food blogger ‘Cook With Parul’ has managed to recreate that style and shared it with us via Dhaba Style Palak Paneer Recipe.

How to make Dhaba Style Palak Paneer:

Start by blanching the spinach. Strain the spinach and soak it in ice water. This will retain the beautiful green color of the palak paneer. Grind spinach, coriander leaves and green chilies. Fry the paneer in ghee and oil and keep it aside.

Now heat ghee and oil in a pan. Fry bay leaves, dry red chilies, cinnamon cloves, cumin. Add garlic, ginger and green chilies, saute till the garlic turns golden. Now add onion and cook till it becomes transparent. Add tomatoes and season it with coriander powder, turmeric, red chilli powder, cumin powder and crushed kasoori methi. Add spinach paste and add cooked paneer. Top the dish with cream, butter and garam masala. Lastly add tempering as mentioned in the video.
