West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday shared a video of herself walking on a treadmill. Like most of us work weekends, she needed an extra dose of motivation and a tiny, fluffy puppy did the trick.
“Sometimes all you need is some extra motivation!” She captioned the video with a dog emoji at the end. While comments have been turned off, the video has been liked by over 15,000 people.
The video shows Ms Banerjee walking on a treadmill in her distinctive white sari as she holds a brown puppy in front of her. As she walks in, Ms Banerjee looks down at her little “motivator”.
Mamata Banerjee has always been an advocate of exercise, and in 2019 even did a 10 km long jog in Darjeeling to create awareness about conservation.
The 68-year-old politician with a career spanning over five decades has also been a staunch opponent of the BJP. Recently, she criticized the party saying that she would have been happy if it was “Fall” of BJP Karnataka assembly election begins Result Out of which will be announced on 13th May.
Earlier this week, Ms Banerjee tweeted, “India deserves a change for the better. There is no greater power than the power of the people. On the occasion of Maa-Mati-Manush-Diwas, I appeal to all against jumla politics.” Urge to unite. When all opposition parties come together, BJP will lose the battle and India will win the war against divisive forces.”
