An octopus snatches a GoPro from a diver.
Despite its vastness and influence on every living thing on Earth, the composition of the ocean is still unknown. The deep sea is home to a variety of fascinating animals, including octopuses, whales, dolphins, porpoises, pinnipeds, seals, sea lions, and walruses. Because of its existence and the mystery of the ocean, divers often go beneath the surface to collect data, images, and other special marine objects to learn more about it.
One such incident, which has since gone viral and is taking people by surprise, was experienced by a diver in search of more information about the deep blue sea.
A diver told of an octopus that stole a GoPro from another diver and wouldn’t give it back.
sharing the video of the incident The diver wrote, “An unusual incident happened to us today while we were snorkeling.” A young man appeared next to us, and when I asked him if he was all right, he replied that he needed our help. Various dilemmas were going on in my mind. I asked him what was wrong, and his answer was, ‘An octopus took my camera.’ He took us to where he’d last seen his camera, and sure enough, there were eight-armed bandits, each with a GoPro tightly wrapped.”
“After filming the octopus hugging his booty, I dived down and picked up the handle. He really didn’t want to let go, so I had no choice but to hoist the GoPro…onto it. Man, that was heavy! I turned the camera sideways a few times, and he reluctantly let go, poor Oxy went back to his girlfriend on the cliff and pissed off, hahaha.”
