Watch: PM Modi reaches Somnath temple in Gujarat, worships

At the same time, BJP’s star campaigner and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also on a three-day Gujarat tour. Modi reached the Somnath temple on the second day of his tour and offered prayers.

Later PM Modi addressed an election rally of BJP in Veraval town of Gir-Somnath district.

Addressing the people in Gujarati in Veraval, PM Modi said that all the people of BJP do not need to think much. Party workers are only concerned about winning their booths. If BJP workers win at their respective booths, then automatically the BJP government will be formed in Gujarat.

PM Modi He said that two decades ago people used to think about Gujarat and what development this drought prone state would bring.

“Where there is no water, the condition of the people is poor due to continuous famine, how will such a state develop? The people of Gujarat are only traders and buy goods from here and sell there. But water arrangements were made, water was supplied to dry areas. Gujarat has developed”, Modi said.

Mentioning the toilet scheme, free gas connection and Har Ghar Nal Ka Jal Yojana, PM Modi said that the mothers and sisters of the state have benefited a lot from these.

Initiatives were taken to free the mothers from sufferings and their miseries have been eliminated to a great extent.

The PM said that during the Corona period, the government did not allow mothers and children to sleep hungry in any house by sending free food grains.

He also said that the development of tourism, agriculture and dairy industry in Gujarat has benefitted the farmers.

The PM said that while Narendra will serve the people in Delhi, Bhupendra will serve in Gujarat. The public has to form a double engine government.
