In a terrifying incident, two black panthers were seen roaming freely inside the premises of the Meteorological Research Center in Ooty. The video uploaded by Twitter user Kishore Chandran has now gone viral on social media. A black panther is a melanistic panther, meaning a big cat with an excess of melanin that darkens the skin through pigmentation. The video shows these two big cats roaming around the campus. This incident was captured in a CCTV camera.

Since being uploaded, the video has garnered 22K views. Netizens suspect that there are four leopards in total. One person wrote, “I found four animals in the video, not two… we can’t see the other two because the colors and background colors of the animals are the same. I can’t see them because of the interaction of light with the animals’ eyes.” Could see…Once you recognize it….then, you’ll be able to see the other two animals in the video.”

Meanwhile, a video that had gone viral earlier showed a leopard jumping off a building and then attacking a man riding a motorcycle. However, according to IFS officer Sushant Nanda, the situation got worse as people panicked. In the caption, he wrote that the crowd is increasing the tension of the leopard. As per the latest update, the leopard has been safely pacified by the forest department officials. Later in the video, we also see a man throwing a stone at the leopard. That’s when the panther retaliates. The incident is from Mysore. “It was only a mistake that it was seen.
