In recent times, the curiosity about Japanese food has been very high. In 2021, Google revealed that it was one of the most searched recipes globally. Although there is much more to the cuisine, one of the most popular dishes is sushi. The perfect combination of fish, rice and seaweed – every bite of sushi is heavenly and delicious. So when a chef blogger duo created the world’s largest sushi roll, we immediately had to wake up and take notice! Chef Nick DiGiovanni and Chef Lynn Davis set this interesting record together a few days ago. Take a look at the video shared by him on Instagram:

The giant sushi roll made by the chef duo weighed 1,360 kg. Its diameter was 2.16 meters or 7 feet 1 inch. Also, 500 pounds cucumber, 500 pounds salmon, 2,000 pounds sushi Rice and 1,000 pounds of nori were used to make it. After breaking the record, Nick and Lynn also donated sushi to a homeless shelter that used it.
At one point it holds the record for the largest sushi roll slice in terms of diameter, according to a video shared by Nick DiGiovanni. For record requirements, sushi rolls must be roughly circular in shape and include distinctive material Such as cold vinegared rice, sheets of nori seaweed, and at least two different fillings.
In the same video for the largest sushi roll shared on YouTube, Nick DiGiovanni attempts to break the record for filming A 10-pound fish previously owned by Gordon Ramsay. While Gordon managed to do it in 1 minute and five seconds, Chef Nick broke his own record by filming it in just one minute.
