WBCHSE Class 12 Exam 2022: Dates changed for some subjects, announces Banerjee

West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) exam dates for certain subjects have been changed, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced on Thursday.

There will be no examinations between April 6 and 15 due to the bypolls, CM Banerjee said, adding that the examinations will end on April 27 instead of April 26.

WBCHSE had released the revised schedule for the state board class 12 exams a few days back.

Last year the higher secondary examination could not be conducted due to the increase in the cases of coronavirus.

With the Covid-19 tally dipping of late, students will be writing their papers offline this time.

As the National Testing Agency has decided to conduct the (Mains) from April 16 to 21, the council revised its dates for Chemistry, Statistics, Economics among other papers to enable the students to appear for the entrance test as well. WBCHSE Chairman Chiranjeeb Bhattacharya said.

Bhattacharya said that all the examinations will be held at home centres.
