A fine diner in the United Kingdom, Jamawar has gained a distinguished clientele with its authentic food menu, chic decor and earthy vibe. Adding another feather to its cap, this place has now received the much-awaited Michelin plaque.
Announcing the news, LSL Capital (Jamavar’s parent company) shared a heartfelt post on Instagram. It read, “We are thrilled to receive our Michelin plaque at @JamavarLondon! Today we celebrate this collective achievement with our team, directed by Culinary Director and Executive Chef Surendra Mohan and Co-Founder Sanyuktha Nair Has gone.”

For the unversed, Jamavar London is the chain’s first international outlet, founded by LSL Capital – a firm run by father-daughter duo Dinesh and Samyuktha Nair. Jamawar London was launched in 2016 and gained popularity in no time.
Earlier in February 2022, Jamavar received a One Michelin star for being a “smart dressed restaurant”, where “the menu overlooks all parts of India with a slight bias towards the north, as well as dishes that would have been displayed in royal kitchens.” “According to the official Michelin Guide website.
