The court said that the control of the government officials in Delhi will remain with the existing government. A 5-judge constitution bench unanimously said that except for public order, police and land, the lieutenant governor will work with the advice and cooperation of the Delhi government in all other matters. CM Arvind Kejriwal has thanked the CJI for this decision of the apex court. He said that today the Supreme Court has done justice to the people of Delhi.
