Abdullah said, “We do not expect such threats from our friends in the DMK. A controversy had erupted on Friday over Shivaratri Krishnamurthy’s remarks against Ravi.
Krishnamurti had said, “If the governor refuses to take Ambedkar’s name in his speech in the assembly, do I have no right to attack him? If you (Governor) don’t give any importance to the statement made by Tamil Nadu government, then go to Kashmir, we will send terrorists so that they shoot you.
Reacting to the DMK leader’s remarks, Omar wrote on Twitter, “We do not expect threats from our friends of the MUK to go to Kashmir.” Meanwhile, both the Raj Bhavan and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tamil Nadu staged separate police blockades demanding action against Krishnamurthy.
