Along with the recipe, Chef Guntas wrote, “We all love fry-days. We’re just grateful for the different ways we eat potatoes but this should always be a favorite.”

How to Make Truffle Fries – Chef Guntas shares the recipe:

material:

  • Potatoes – 3
  • salt to taste
  • Mixed Garlic – 3 tbsp
  • Olive oil – 1 tsp
  • Shaved Parmesan Cheese – 1 tbsp
  • Red capsicum powder – 1 tsp
  • Chopped parsley – 1 tbsp
  • Truffle Oil – 1 tbsp

method:

  • First cut the potatoes into thin wedges. Empty it in a fan with water. Boil the potatoes by adding some salt.
  • Now sieve the potatoes. Put these in a bowl and add the mixed garlic, olive oil, salt, shaved Parmesan cheese, paprika powder and some chopped parsley. The wedges should be well covered with the spices.
  • Bake in an air fryer or oven at 200*c for 12-15 minutes or till they are cooked.
  • Next, you’ll need to toss it again in 1 Tbsp truffle oil, some shaved Parmesan cheese, and parsley.

Chef Guntas also mentioned some tips in the caption:

  • He said that getting truffle oil is a bit difficult. But one should not indulge in quality, because “better quality, better taste.”
  • If you don’t have an air fryer, the chefs suggest deep frying them or baking them in the oven.
  • For garnish, you can top it off with garlic, peri peri, parsley, Parmesan, and more.
  • Truffle fries don’t rest well because they get soggy too quickly and the truffle oil loses flavor. The way out is to “serve them hot.”
