West Bengal Secondary or Class 10 Board Exam 2022 is starting from tomorrow, March 6. The exam will be conducted by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) and will be held at different places. Further, internet services in and around the examination centers will remain closed during the examination period to prevent large scale examination cheating.
Earlier, the Chief Secretary of the state had a meeting with the District Magistrates and SPs of all the districts. At that time, the district administration was asked to indicate sensitive places and implement a system of suspending internet services during exam time.

Every year in West Bengal, mass fraud is a big problem for the administration and this system will be implemented to deal with it. The places where internet services will remain closed will be decided by the concerned district administration.
Earlier also, internet services were suspended within 100 meters of some examination centers during secondary examinations. Sources had earlier told that this time CCTV cameras have also been installed at many examination centers in every district.
WBBSE had earlier released the admit card or hall ticket for the secondary exam on February 23. Board chairman Kalyanmoy Gangopadhyay had earlier said that this year the board exams will not be canceled and the exams will be conducted as per the schedule from March 7. The board will conduct the exam amidst strict Covid-19 precautions.
“Secondary exams are scheduled to start from March 7. We are well prepared. There’s still plenty of time. Test papers have been issued for the students. The Board of Secondary Education took question papers from 9991 schools across the state.
