WhatsApp Is rolling out various in-app features to make it more attractive. The Meta-owned instant messaging app is now developing a new feature that will let users know about From beginning to end Encryption details about status updates and calling feature. It will tell you who saw your status update and when. It will probably be available for desktop users and will be rolled out on the Android platform later. This feature is still under development so final results may vary.
“WhatsApp plans to introduce information at the bottom of your chat list. This was expected as WhatsApp is also planning to add a footer containing this information at the bottom of your chats, on future updates to WhatsApp Desktop Beta,” WABetaInfo observed.
He added that if the company really intends to introduce these labels, we should expect them to arrive on WhatsApp beta for Android as well.
For iOS users, WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that lets them know more about contact information. This feature is already available for WhatsApp Business users on the same OS.
WABetaInfo wrote, “The newly redesigned interface is the same as that implemented on Business Info, and includes a new search message shortcut. Note, when you go to Business Info, you can see Submit by Business. You can also view status updates made, but this feature is not available for standard WhatsApp accounts.
