Paytm founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma surprised a random Twitter user after he reached out for a response via a direct text message.
The user, Ishant Juyal, was among the first Twitter threads to talk about the everyday use of the fintech app for payments and other transactions.
Ishant Juyal said in a statement, “For me, Paytm has always been the go-to app for UPI. But yes, the connectivity thing of jeepay is better, so 1:1 transaction with jeepay is easy. For merchants and QR, Paytm is the best. Is.” Tweet.
Seeing the buzz on the social media platform, Sharma slammed the user’s DM seeking feedback. “Hola Ishant,” Sharma texted him.
“What will Paytm do for you to visit the app for 1:1 payments? Give me feedback as a product manager and user. TIA,” he said.
Juyal was delighted with the message from the Paytm founder and shared the excitement on his timeline.
Juyal later tweeted, “Imagine being the founder of Paytm and reaching out to users for feedback. Still can’t believe this has happened. Who said tweeting won’t get you space?”
