May be you have . have any opinion about TIC Toc Or maybe you don’t have one. The app is being well received across the globe as it has changed the way a lot of people consume content on social media. TikTok was a huge hit in India even before the government banned the app. However, across the globe, TikTok remains the most popular app in the world. In April 2022, TikTok was the most popular app in the world with 176 million downloads. Overall, the app has around 3.5 billion downloads. Since 2018, no app has reached the height that TikTok has managed to achieve. So it is natural that people would like to be on Tiktok as it has a huge reach.
However, TikTok was not very happy when a football club actually created an account on the platform. It’s not that TikTok didn’t want football clubs to come on stage, but didn’t like the way it was announced. venezia football The club – currently trading in Italy’s second division known as Series B – created their TikTok account and made a tongue-in-cheek announcement via Twitter. The football club tweeted on June 29, ‘Sadly we are now on Tiktok. If you’re 12, follow us there.” This was an obvious dig at TikTok and it didn’t go down too well ByteDanceThe parent company of TikTok.
Venezia’s official Twitter account confirmed in a tweet that TikTok emailed the club to remove the tweet. Quoting from his original announcement tweet, venezia “Absolutely absurd that TikTok emailed us to take this down,” tweeted. Other than a follow-up tweet that did not receive the contents of the email, Venezia made another sarcastic comment on TikTok. “‘as soon as possible.’ Yeah, we’ll be fine on that.”
Clearly, Venezia FC is in no mood to delete the tweet. It will be interesting to see if TikTok takes any kind of ‘action’ against the football club, which has the likes of former Portugal and Manchester United Winger Nanny in their ranks.
