Will there be term two exams for CBSE and ? Will the CISCE boards get canceled if the number of Kovid-19 cases increases? A section of students and teachers are demanding cancellation of the exam amid rising cases of coronavirus. While the exams are to begin from April 26, in less than a week, are these demands valid?
As per the rules, there is a possibility that the board’s second term exams may be pushed back or even canceled in case of high number of coronavirus infections. When CBSE announced that it would conduct two exams, the board in its official notice had said that if there is another wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, the final result will be calculated on the basis of Term 1 exam and internal assessment.
If it happens, it won’t be the first time. In 2021, the board could not conduct any exam due to the pandemic. In 2020 too, the exams had to be halted midway due to the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was after the massive disruption in its examination and evaluation system that CBSE had decided to go with not one but two exams for the 2022 batch.
Even though the situation of COVID-19 is not so dire at present, many students and academicians want to cancel the Term 2 exams. They not only want to cancel term 2 but also want a major part of the final result to be given to internal evaluation.

#cancelboardexam2022 #CBSE There are students who lost their parents or suffered themselves in hospitals because the death rate increased, so doesn’t it matter? How do you think they will write with mental stability? Please think about it before asking us to appear for the exam. ,

CBSE had asked schools to collect data from the beginning of the new academic year. The schools were asked to create a student profile for all the assessments conducted throughout the year. Three periodic tests, student enrichment, portfolio and practical assignments, and speaking listening activities were to be conducted for class 10. Internal assessment for class 12 will consist of unit tests, exploratory activities, practicals and projects at the end of each topic. Though CBSE has not announced the exact weightage yet, but as per the official information, the result will be prepared by combining Term 1, Term 2 and Internal Assessment.
