Will request India to expedite return of AF students: Taliban – Times of India

New Delhi: Taliban has said that they will ask the Indian government to expedite the return of Afghan students to India who wish to resume their studies here.
After this there was a meeting of students on Monday Afghanistan External Affairs Minister Aamir Khan Muttaki In which he demanded an early return to India and the resumption of his classes. Classes were suspended due to the pandemic.
“Describing Afghan students as assets of the country, Muttaki assured them that he would do everything possible to ensure the return of Afghan students to complete their studies,” a spokesman for Afghanistan’s foreign ministry tweeted. Muttaki also assured the students that the issue would be taken up with the Indian Embassy in Kabul.
India had recently re-deployed diplomats to the embassy after the Taliban assured a safe environment for them. news network
