Will Smith will visit India to meet Sadhguru after Oscar slap
Hollywood star Will Smith was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Saturday. Reports said that Smith is in India to meet spiritual leader Sadhguru, following the incident at the Oscars where he slapped Chris Rock on stage, leading to speculation over his personal life. Smith was seen chatting and laughing with the people around.
The “The Pursuit of Happiness” actor came into limelight at the Oscars for an incident where he assaulted comedian Chris Rock after making fun of Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith’s bald head.
Post that Smith has been banned from attending any Academy events for the next 10 years, including the Oscars. He won the Best Actor award for ‘King Richard’.

The actor has come to India on several occasions. He was last seen in 2019 for the shooting of his reality show ‘The Bucket List’. He also visited Haridwar and participated in ‘Ganga Aarti’.
After the slap incident, Will also apologized to Chris on Instagram.
He wrote: “Violence is toxic and destructive in all its forms. My behavior at last night’s Academy Awards was unacceptable and unforgivable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition is too much for me.” There was more to bear and I reacted emotionally.”
Following the incident, Smith’s visit to India has gained importance in the light of reports of marital problems.
