Woman claims, it is very important to have 50 thousand rupees salary to live in metro city
Leaving home and moving to another city for full time job or studies and starting a new life is a very courageous act. This is not everyone’s cup of tea. Because it is very difficult to go alone in a new city and take all your parts alone. Those who have done this can very well understand that new home swing, switching, a well functioning room, keeping an eye on you really shows you the reality of your self reliance.

Now a debate is going on on social media about living in Metro City. One of them is this fossil of Medha Ganti. In which Medha has written how difficult it is to survive in a metro city on a salary of Rs 50,000.
The tweet read, “Why is the salary of freshers so low? How can such a low salary survive in a metro city? With Rs 50,000 a month, you can hardly make any savings. Not everyone can take money from their family!”
“The answer is no better career choice can be made! People have different attachment sets. In the third year, you start getting an idea of what you want to do.”
Why is the salary of freshers so low? How can one survive on this in a metro city? With 50k a month you will have barely any savings.
Not everyone can take money from their family!

The post has accumulated more than 1.2 million views since morning. A large section of Twitter pointed out that Rs 50,000 is actually enough to survive in any city, if Dhundhala is taken care of properly. Just what was it then, an opinion started in the comment section. And people gave their feedback.
It depends on your lifestyle.
I know ppl with less than 50k salary but still save at least 8-10k per month after all expenses.
And I also know people whose lifestyle expenses go beyond 50 thousand.
It’s all in the lifestyle we want to live.

Though I agree that 50k is less in a metro city, but it totally depends on your lifestyle. For example, as a fresher I am also getting only 30k in bengaluru, around 10k I send to my family, but still save around 5k.

I also cannot relate, when I came to Bangalore my salary was 20 thousand. 5k for rent (10k total shared with a friend) and 5k for food. 2k for other expenses, still saved 8k. If you want to live, you can definitely live. I think it’s in the mindset. Didn’t mean to offend you, just wanted to share.

50k is not fresher salary. If you are getting that congratulations. If you earn 1 lakh a month then you are in the top 10% of the country.
People survive on 15k too – lifestyles change.
My first job was 28k – in a tier 1 city – I lived and had fun.
If you want to live in a place where the rent is 30 thousand…
