Talismanic Indian batsman Mithali Raj continued her seventh spot while compatriot Smriti Mandhana also finished ninth in the latest ICC Women’s ODI Batting Rankings released on Tuesday.

Australia’s Alyssa Healy continues to lead the ranking charts, followed by Natalie Sciver of England. Both the batsmen performed brilliantly in the Women’s World Cup in New Zealand earlier this year.

Veteran Indian fast bowler Jhulan Goswami also remains at the fifth position in the bowling list.

Veteran Pakistan opener Sidra Amin has been rewarded for his memorable series against Sri Lanka which saw him take a huge leap in the latest batting charts.

Sidra scored 218 runs in the series at an impressive average of 72.66, including a match-winning 123 in the second ODI against Sri Lanka. The 30-year-old has now climbed 19 places to reach a career-best 35th position.

Sri Lankan captain Chamari Athapaththu also made remarkable progress, up six places to be ranked 23rd. The 32-year-old had scored 101 runs in the second ODI against Pakistan and scored a total of 142 runs in the three-match series.

The bowling rankings were led by English woman Sophie Ecclestone, while South Africa’s Shabnim Ismail and Australia’s Jess Jonassen finished second and third respectively.
