World Lung Day calls for meeting unmet needs in lung diseases – Times of India

According to Global Burden of Disease data and other research studies, out of over 90 million patients with lung diseases, only 10 million have access to the right management of lung care in India. It appears that 90 per cent of lung patients are deprived of lung care, which highlights the huge gap in access to treatment.
