Xavi Hernandez said on Wednesday he was “eager to go home” and expects a deal with El Saad in “a few hours, maybe days” to secure his return to the club as Barcelona coach Can do. I have a contract and two clubs have to agree. I’m very excited to go home and coach Barcelona. Which has a lot of responsibility, but I am very excited and motivated.”
Xavi said that his Al Saad contract contained a “shortened release clause”, which was reportedly set at around five million euros ($5.8 million). He appeared optimistic that a settlement would be found.
Javi said, “I am very positive, I am just like that, I am very clear about what I want. I think it is a matter of hours, maybe days. They know my position, hope it did May go.”

“The position of the club has been clear from the start – we are committed to having our coach Xavi with us and we cannot afford to leave him at this sensitive time of the season.”
After whistling the entire time, Xavi was seen greeting his players one by one in the tunnel.
Former Arsenal player Al Saad midfielder Santi Cazorla said: “We wish Xavi the best, we want what is best for him. I am very grateful to him for all he has done for me. Now we have to wait Will have to and see what happens.”
Barcelona’s B team coach Sergi Barjuan is expected to remain in charge for Saturday’s La Liga match at Celta Vigo, with Xavi likely to take over during the international break.
Xavi’s first game will be against rivals Espanyol at Camp Nou on 20 November.
The 41-year-old joined Al Saad as a player in 2015 after making 767 appearances for Barcelona.
He won eight La Liga titles and four Champions League titles with Barca and is regarded as one of the club’s greatest players.
