The G9 model X . likely to hit
XPeng is a big fish inside the Chinese pond of EVs. It’s known as the Tesla of China and it boasts some impressive technology in addition to being one of the biggest EV players in the world, simply by virtue of its deep-scale base in China. Now, it’s teasing its latest EV – which was unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show. Xpeng has quickly achieved this despite launching its first car, the G3 SUV, in 2018.
In 2019, the G3 was joined by the P7 sedan. Xpeng also works in the area of eVTOL with its urban air mobility arm HT Aero. XPeng is fast becoming one of the best-selling EV brands in the world and has now expanded into Europe, starting sales of its vehicles in Norway.

The new teaser points to a vehicle that could be Xpeng’s biggest car ever offered – with it even bigger than the G3. Many believe that it could be the G9 which, as claimed in its teaser, has “a new breed coming soon”.

The delivery period of the vehicle in question is likely to be in 2022. The car is likely based on the same platform as the P7, which has a wheelbase of 3,100 mm and is already much longer than the G3.
