Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief Om Prakash Rajbhar has alleged that he was attacked in Varanasi on Monday while filing nomination of party candidate Arvind Rajbhar from Shivpur constituency. Alleging the attack, Rajbhar said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wants to kill him.

Om Prakash Rajbhar was quoted by news agency ANI as saying, “Yogi ji wants to kill me. BJP and Yogi’s goons were sent there in black coats.”

Along with this, Rajbhar demanded the Election Commission to provide security to both.

He further said, “I demand the Election Commission of India to provide security to me and Arvind Rajbhar.”

Voting has already taken place in Uttar Pradesh in two phases. Polling in the state is to be held in five phases till March 7.

Last week, Rajbhar had said that he would waive the challan for riding a bike with three pillars if his party’s alliance with the Samajwadi Party comes to power in the Uttar Pradesh elections.

Rajbhar had said, “A train carrying 300 passengers on 70 seats and challan is not given, if 3 people ride bike then why challan?”

Speaking further, Rajbhar said, “When our government comes to power, 3 riders will be able to ride bikes for free, otherwise we will challan jeeps/trains.”
