Google finally introduced annual plans for youtube premium And lets YouTube Music Premium users in India pay upfront for a 12-month non-recurring subscription.
The company has also launched this plan in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, Turkey, Germany, Thailand and Japan.
This comes as YouTube started offering its paid subscription model on a monthly and quarterly basis.
As an introductory offer, Google is currently offering a discounted rate on subscriptions till January 23. You can get an annual subscription to YouTube Premium 1,159 more 889 for YouTube Music Premium.

The amount users will have to pay after the offer expires is yet to be revealed.
Users will be able to transfer to the annual premium plan by canceling their existing subscription and signing up anew. Additionally, prepaid users will automatically be transferred to annual plans once the prepaid plan expires.
Currently, there are no partial refund plans, which means you’ll want to wait until your current plan expires, and then sign up for an annual subscription.
It needs to be noted that the payment for the new plans is initiated on prepaid basis and is of non-recurring nature. This means the user has to manually purchase the subscription once the basic annual plan is over.
YouTube Premium annual plans can be signed up to use Android and the web. However, the company has not yet provided an in-app sign-up option for iOS devices.
Google was still charging 129 per month for premium. Family plan that allows the cost of a joint account of five family members 189 per month. Students can get monthly subscription 79 per month, but they will have to undergo annual verification.
YouTube Music Premium monthly subscriptions start here 99 per month, while family plans begin 149 per month. Students can avail monthly membership here 59 per month.
