YS Guleria resigns from Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India

YS Guleria has resigned from his post of Director, Sales, Marketing and Service at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India. Pradeep Pandey, Senior VP of Customer Service has also submitted his resignation along with him.

Yadvinder Singh Guleria has resigned from his post of Director, Sales, Marketing, After Sales, Logistics, Premium Bike Business, Brand, Communication and Service at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI). The employees were informed of Guleria’s resignation yesterday citing personal reasons. He will exit the company in June 2022. YS Guleria has been associated with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India for more than two decades. His career also includes a one-year stint as a Director of Polaris India Pvt Ltd between 2011 and 2012.

He was promoted to the Board of Directors in the year 2020 and was responsible for the new verticals of the premium motorcycle business as well as Sales and Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, Brand and Communications.

The company recently announced its future roadmap for the Indian market. This includes upgrading the Manesar facility to turn it into a global production hub for motorcycles. The company is also said to be developing a flex-fuel engine for India and will soon introduce a new entry-level commuter motorcycle for India. Lastly, Honda is moving towards the electric mobility segment with its new vertical – Honda Power Pack Energy India, which will power electric three-wheelers with swappable batteries.
